As we continue our journey in this digital life where you can look at your mobile phone here are 5 reasons why you should wear a watch.
1 Tells The Time
The most obvious reason but this is what a watch was built to do.
Watches have been around since the 16th century and have evolved into these beautiful timepieces that we see today.
While you can pick up your mobile phone and see the time there, is still something quite special about looking at your watch on your wrist and seeing what the time is.
2 Watches Are Functional
Watches have come a long and you can do anything with your watch.
If you need to know the time in another country, you can use a GMT or world timer, do you need a watch that you can swim or dive in then a diver watch is for you.
Chronographs and watches with stopwatches can help you measure timings or if you just want to know what the date is then your watch can do that too.
They can connect to Bluetooth aswell as being solar powered if a quartz or automatic movement is not your thing.
Whether you are the dressy person or the sportier type there is a watch for you.
3 Watches Are Stylish
You might think to be stylish your watch needs to be a Rolex or an AP but you could not be further from the truth.
A stylish watch does not have to cost the earth and there plenty of affordable options from Casio to Timex that will get you compliments from male and female admirers alike.
If you are wearing a nice outfit a stylish watch will finish that outfit off perfectly, as they say the devil is in the detail.
4 Watches Are Sentimental
This a big one!!
A watch can mark a special occasion in your life, from a special birthday to an anniversary to passing an exam when you wear that watch it will have special meaning to you.

One of the best things about watches is they can last a lifetime and that means you can pass them on to a family member for them to enjoy and start their own memories.
5 Watches Are Cool
Yes, I said it they are cool.
Some of my earliest memories are of my own dad he always wore a watch they were not expensive, but I always thought to myself I want to wear a watch like him and to this day I still do.
There are so many watches out there from the big boys of Rolex, Omega to your everyday brands of Casio, Seiko and Lorus to name a few you will be hard pushed not to find a watch that suits you and your personal style.
There are so many incredible dials out there that will get that second glance or be a conversation starter.
The history of watches is just as interesting and then there is how a watch is powered from automatic to quartz and everything in-between.
Once you start your watch journey, you will be hooked, and you will be part of an amazing community that loves watches as much as you do.
